All of our doctors at Young Dentistry for Children maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in dentistry.
Jill Decker, DDS
Dr. Decker is from Rochester, New York. She received her BA in Biology from the University of Rochester and her DDS degree from The University of Buffalo. She completed a general practice dental residency at Denver Health Medical Center and received her certificate in pediatric dentistry at The Children's Hospital of Denver. Dr. Decker is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentists and is a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists. She loves spending time with her children and enjoys music, reading and yoga.

Kim Kretsch, DDS
Dr. Kretsch was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. She received her Bachelor of Science degree with a certificate in dental hygiene from the University of Iowa. She practiced as a dental hygienist before pursuing her D.D.S. degree from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. She earned her certificate in pediatric dentistry from Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Dr. Kretsch is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentists and is also a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists. She is the past President of the Boulder/Broomfield County Dental Society and also served as a state level delegate to the Colorado Dental Association representing Boulder/Broomfield County. She is married and resides in Superior with her husband and two sons.

Keaton Howe, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Howe is a board certified pediatric dentist who lives with his wife, two sons and their dog in Louisville. Originally born in Leeds, England, he grew up in Naperville, Illinois before achieving his Bachelor's degree from Indiana University at Bloomington. He received his D.D.S. degree, pediatric dental specialty certificate, and Master of Science degree at The University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Howe is proud to volunteer in many dental benefit programs and holds an adjunct faculty position at The Children's Hospital of Denver. Dr. Howe enjoys tennis, triathlons, playing music, and spending time outdoors with his family.

Nicole McNear, DMD
Dr. McNear was raised in Northern California. She received her Bachelor of Science in Pychobiology at UC Davis and D.M.D. degree in Boston, MA at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Wanting to stay in the east coast longer, she earned her certificate in pediatric dentistry at Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry before heading to Denver to complete a fellowship at The Children's Hospital in Aurora, CO. Dr. McNear is a board certified pediatric dentist and an active member in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists. She loves reading, yoga and exploring Boulder County with her husband and bulldog, Maggie May.

Dr. Roel Gonzalez is from Edinburg, TX. He attended the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg for his undergraduate studies. In 1999 he attended The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA and received his dental degree in 2003. After completion of an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency program in 2004, Dr. Gonzalez was assigned to Misawa Air Force Base on the east coast of Northern Japan. In 2006, Dr. Gonzalez spent four years at the Yokota Air Force Base in Tokyo, Japan. He then completed his pediatric dental residency at The Children's Hospital in Colorado. Dr. Gonzalez is a board candidate for the American Board of Pediatric Dentists. Dr. Gonzalez enjoys traveling, experiencing different cultures and learning new languages. He is fluent in Spanish and speaks Japanese.
Dr. Roel González es de Edinburg, TX. Asistió a la Universidad de Texas-Pan American en Edinburg para sus estudios universitarios. En 1999 asistió a la Universidad de Pensilvania en Filadelfia, PA y recibió su título de odontólogo en 2003. Después completo una educación avanzada en odontología general con Las Fuerzas Aereas (US Air Force) en el año 2004. Durante su carrera con Las Fuerzas, Dr. González fue asignado a la base de Misawa en la costa este del norte de Japón. En 2008, Dr. González completo su carrera con el ejercito americano en Yokota Air Force Base en Tokio, Japón. Luego completó su especialidad dental pediátrica en el Hospital de Niños de Colorado. Dr. González es candidato del Consejo Americano de Dentistas Pediátricos. A el doctor González le gusta viajar, conocer diferentes culturas y aprender nuevos idiomas.
